Explore AJ's journey to becoming a Coach and Hypnotherapist

About AJ

In my younger years, I always held a playful and sincere attitude in embodying myself in relationships. After working many years in both the military and corporate worlds, managing high-stress environments, I transitioned to become a wellness practitioner and rekindled those creative sparks.

I discovered my knack and passion for providing safe, intimate, and profound spaces for others to explore the inner workings of the human mind. To connect authentically, we must feel safe. To feel safe, we must have structure. To have structure, we must have understanding. And to have understanding, we must develop deeper self-intimacy and compassion for the outer world. I enjoy sharing with others how to listen to the wisdom of their bodies, love themselves to the core, and create healthy, meaningful relationships.

My Skillsets

Delving deep, I provide services that nurture all layers of mind, body, and spirit, fostering profound personal and relational transformations:

Mind - Hypnosis and hypnotherapy felt like rediscovered long lost loves during a Tantric educational workshop I attended during COVID. I immediately dove deep into my own practice and integrated these powerful tools into my own coaching practice.

Certifications and education in nonviolent communication, meditation, breathwork facilitation, IFS trauma-informed coaching, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, kink-informed sexology, and non-normative relationship dynamics have all taught me that true listening is an art. As humans, we need emotionally focused strategies to sustain beautiful connections long-term.

Body - Movement and play are essential to life. Yoga, somatic practices, and movement coaching have become my eternal passions. I love sharing effective somatic and movement practices with my clients. In sessions, I incorporate playful, bite-sized yoga and breathwork exercises to recalibrate the nervous system, creating deeper healing experiences.

Spirit - Openness and acceptance of all faiths and spiritual practices, rooted in mutual kindness and respect, shape my approach. Understanding someone’s experiences and backgrounds is essential to my coaching practice. My yogic and meditation practices have guided my self-care and conscious relating styles by cultivating mindfulness.
